As a part of the economics of agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the agricultural economy plays an important role in defining the economics of agriculture, particularly when it comes to studying the economic variables in the agriculture sector.
Message from department head
The Department of Food Science and Nutrition is the Kingdom's pioneer and leading department in the fields of Food Science and Human Nutrition. The department has earned a reputation as a Center of Excellence in academics and research over the years. The department's goals are to cultivate scientific talent, provide technical help to stakeholders, and provide community development services. We see novel research in nutrition, food processing and preservation, and food safety as stepping stones to success. Over the years, our graduates have proven to be a source of pride for the university while also making significant contributions to national growth. Our services for academics, research, and student capacity building demonstrate our dedication.
