- King Hamad bin Isa Award for the Best Research in Agricultural Development in the Kingdom of Bahrain – awarded to Prof. Abdulrasool Mousa Al-Omran, 2018.
- Digital Library Award for Saudi scientific output published in global databases – "University with the Highest Impact in the Field of Agriculture" – from the Ministry of Education, awarded to Prof. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Wabel, 2019.
- Research Excellence Award in Agricultural Sciences from King Saud University – awarded to Prof. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Wabel, 2019.
- Outstanding Performance Award from the Secretariat of the Centers of Research Excellence at the Ministry of Higher Education – awarded to Prof. Mohammed Hamza Al-Saeed, 2016.
- King Saud University Scientific Excellence Award – Best Translated Book (Scientific Fields Category) for the book "Introduction to Water Resources and Environmental Issues" – awarded to Prof. Abdulrasool Mousa Al-Omran, 2018.
International Collaboration
- Prof. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Wabel participated as an Honorary Professor at The Education University of Hong Kong, 2018.
- Dr. Khalid bin Dhawi Al-Otaibi participated in the International Scientific Partnership Program since 2018, in collaboration with the Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Quebec City.
Discoveries
- Discovery of the Andisol soil order (volcanic soils) – the first recorded identification of this soil order in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This groundbreaking research was conducted through the doctoral dissertation of Ph.D. candidate Maqbool Mousa Suleiman, supervised by Prof. Abdel Azim Shahwan Ahmed Salam and Prof. Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Farraj.
The findings were published in Geoderma, a high-impact journal ranked among the top 10 in the field of soil science.
