The Agricultural Research Center (ARC) at the College of Agriculture has always been active; addressing existing and emerging problems so as to fulfill the needs of our agricultural developments. The primary purpose of ARC, since its establishment in 1398H, has been to raise academic standards and advance commercial growth of the agricultural sector in Saudi Arabia. Apart from promoting valuable research projects and publishing specialized research journals, it also encourages College Staff members to publish their research in recognized journals and periodicals. The Center also provides them with the financial support they need to achieve that goal.

         The Agricultural Research Center sponsors, promotes and finances the initiation and development of research projects related to agricultural growth and development in Saudi Arabia. The center also works as a link joining the College, the private sector and governmental bodies to promote joint research ventures so as to resolve obstacles preventing the promotion of agricultural sector in Saudi Arabia.

During the past years ARC has supported & sponsored many projects and has provided possible assistance to achieve a successful completion of such projects while maintaining a regular comprehensive and continuous follow up of their progress.  Most of these projects related to achieving strategic and challenging national goals so as to create an awareness of the problems and challenges that have emerged as a result of the huge agricultural development Saudi Arabia has witnessed during the recent years

The Center is committed to helping and supporting research activities in the College in relation to various aspects of agricultural sciences.
