The Department of Food Science and Nutrition is one of the leading academic departments in the Kingdom in the fields of food science and human nutrition. The department has gained a good reputation as a distinguished research center in academia for many years. The objectives of the department are to develop scientific talents and provide technical assistance to stakeholders, and provide community development services. The department is also interested in new and important research in nutrition, technology, preservation and food safety as an important fulcrum in the steps to achieve success and excellence. The department also provides many technical services of interest to academics and researchers to build, develop and develop national competencies, skills and abilities.
