The Department of Food Science and Nutrition focuses on studying food ingredients and their impact on human health. This includes analyzing nutrients, studying nutrition science, and understanding how diet affects diseases and their prevention. The department aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to develop healthy nutritional strategies, research contemporary food and nutrition issues. The training program includes applied laboratories and field research, qualifying graduates to work in fields as diverse as therapeutic nutrition, food management, and public health.
