Objectives

• To graduate qualified students in the field of Plant Protection across its three branches: Entomology, Plant Pathology, and Pesticide Sciences.
• To conduct both scientific and applied research.
• To provide consultation, technical support, and collaborative research with institutions and companies.

The Agricultural Extension Center at the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences was established by administrative decision 7757 dated 26/2/1406 AH with the aim of serving the agricultural sector by communicating the results of agricultural research to beneficiaries, holding agricultural extension seminars and meetings, conducting training courses for workers in the public and private sectors related to agricultural work, participating in events and meetings held by entities related to agricultural work, identifying agricultural problems and searching for appropriate solutions, and coordinating with entities related to agricultural work in order to spread new knowledge and ideas and seeking to adopt them
