We are pleased to welcome you to the website of the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences at King Saud University.

As Saudi Arabia's first college of agricultural sciences, the college was established in 1965 under the name of the College of Agriculture. It has undergone significant development stages for university education and scientific research, and today is one of the university's most prestigious colleges.

At the Kingdom level, agricultural and food sciences comprise a significant portion of the college's academic and research activities. These activities contribute valuable inputs to the sector they serve, including specialized human cadres with outstanding academic qualifications across a variety of university levels. Degrees in these fields include bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees. The college offers six bachelor's degrees and 24 postgraduate programs (master's and doctoral) within its various departments (agricultural production, animal production, agricultural engineering, plant protection, agricultural economics, agricultural extension, soil science, food science, and nutrition). The college also conducts applied research in these areas, contributing to the development of the sectors targeted in its programs, the transfer of modern technologies, and the resolution of problems.

The college has a primary objective of improving community communication as part of its commitment to promoting national development and responding to national plans aimed at achieving sustainable food security by acquiring human and material resources and capabilities.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the college. We appreciate any comments and suggestions you may have.

Last but not least, we hope you find the college's website useful and enjoyable.

I wish you all blessings.
