Cells and tissues; homeostasis; nervous system and nerve impulses; signal transduction; muscles; digestion, absorption and metabolism; kidneys and fluid regulation; circulatory system; respiration; hormones; thermoregulation.
ANP 225: Breeding and Genetic Improvement 3 (2+1)

Sample collection, preservation and transport; pathogenic organisms: major types; identification and isolation; tissue cultures procedures; examination of blood smears; fecal examination; skin scrapings; common serological tests; disinfection, sterilization and use of the autoclave.
