About the Center
The Agricultural Extension Center at the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences was established in 1406 A.H. The center is an important reference in providing advisory and guidance services in the field of agriculture to farmers and those interested in the agricultural sector. The center seeks to develop agriculture and improve productivity and quality in the agricultural sector. The Agricultural Extension Center provides a wide range of advisory services and programs in various agricultural, environmental and nutritional aspects. The center relies on a specialized team of experts and consultants in multiple fields, who provide consultations, guidance, training and awareness to farmers and those interested in agriculture and all members of the community, and organize training courses, seminars and workshops that cover various aspects of agriculture and help enhance knowledge and develop agricultural skills. In addition, the Agricultural Extension Center provides awareness and education services to farmers and the rural community on the importance of sustainable agriculture and effective agricultural practices. The center also promotes awareness of the latest technologies and innovations in the field of agriculture and encourages sustainable agricultural development. The center organizes training courses and workshops to transfer agricultural and food technologies.

The center seeks to be a leading and distinguished center in transferring knowledge and technology in the agricultural, food and environmental fields to the local community by utilizing the scientific and research competencies in the college and cooperating with the concerned authorities.
Mission:
To contribute to the development of the agricultural, food and environmental sector and improve food, water and environmental security by disseminating information, knowledge and modern technologies and providing consultations, studies, analysis and training to the local community.
Objectives:
1. Respond to the issues facing farmers to include them in the college's research plan and find practical applied solutions for them
2. Communicate the results of the research conducted by the college to farmers and the relevant authorities.
3. Organizing workshops for the results of agricultural research conducted at the college.
4. Preparing and organizing field visit programs to research and experimental centers and stations to identify the latest applied methods in the agricultural, food and environmental fields.
5. Preparing programs for field interviews that farmers need in order to provide advice and change wrong knowledge and practices.
6. Coordinating with the relevant authorities in disseminating agricultural, food and environmental knowledge and serving the local community.
7. Providing extension services related to rural family affairs.
8. Encouraging groups of farmers who are capable of promoting agricultural, food and environmental production.
9. Holding agricultural, food and environmental guidance conferences and seminars.
